Question 1: How does your media product follow or challenge the codes and conventions of a music magazine?
During the production of my magazine I did not challenge the codes and conventions of a music magazine, only followed them.

The typical customer for my 'Unsigned' magazine dresses in skinny jeans, small t-shirts/shirts and hoodies from shops like Topman or Republic. They go out on a Friday and Saturday night and spent Saturday day time playing with their and and Sunday daytime working in HMV were there is lots of exposure to all genres of music. He listens to all genres of music from Rock to Hip/Hop and from mainstream to unsigned. They watch TV programmes like Skins and Gavin & Stacey and their favourite films include Superbad and The Hangover.

The Making of my Double-Page-Spread (Main)
Firstly, I added the picture to my double-page-spread because I had to position the text around the picture.
I then added my heading and standfirst quickly summing up what the article is about.
Next, I added the article itself. I then added indents at the start of each paragraph, a drop-capital at the beginning of the article and made the whole of the first paragraph bold.
I finally took a quote from the article and made it larger to break the article up.

The Making of my Contents Page (Main)
I started by adding the heading of the page. I kept the same colour as i used on the title for my front cover.
I then added the contents that is in my magazine including headings and page numbers.
Next, I added the photos to my contents page along with the corresponding page numbers that anchor the pictures to the text.
After that I added subscription information and a picture of my front cover.
Finally, I added my magazine title and a competition advert at the bottom.

This is the start of my front cover, I have added my main image and the title and standfirst of my magazine.
